Since there was no racing around here, a few of us (Casey, Gene, Tony B and myself) went to Rockford Saturday night where I got lucky and started on the pole of both races and ran away with it. Cool! But the sight to see was the NEW 13 car from Minnesota represent as Casey qaulified on pole and won his heat and the feature, leading every lap at Grundy county Speedway in Morris Illinois. Congrats Casey on his first overall feature win and carrying on a tradition on the #13. Gene had a little bad luck with the turn 2 wall in an attempt to avoid a spun car. We got him patched up and running for the main though. Tony struggled with a miss all weekend and came home with a couple good point finishes. Cya thursday at ELKO!
